Dalda Foundation Scholarship 2026-27 is open: apply by 13 November 2026

The Dalda Foundation Trust picks talented students from low-income families after matric and supports them from intermediate through university, as long as they keep their grades up. Applications for 2026-27 opened on 12 October 2026 and close on 13 November 2026. Students from every province, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan can apply online.

Dalda also runs a vocational and technical training scheme (6 months to 2 years) for students with at least 50% in matric.

What the Dalda Foundation scholarship covers

Dalda pays most of what it costs to study at a government college or university: the foundation says 80–85% of the yearly cost, recalculated each year from fee surveys in each province. There is no fixed rupee amount.

• Books and stationery
• Uniform
• Transport

Support continues from intermediate to university as long as you pass each level with the required marks. Scholars also get academic counselling, mentoring and career guidance.

Dalda Foundation scholarship eligibility

You can apply for the 2026-27 professional education scholarship if you meet all of these:

• Pakistani resident under 19, from any province, AJK or Gilgit-Baltistan.
• In 1st-year intermediate at an eligible public-sector college.
• Matric marks: at least 70% for ICS, Arts or Home Economics; at least 80% for pre-medical, pre-engineering or general science.
• Family income: your parent or guardian earns no more than Rs 70,000 a month.
• Home: urban families must live in a home of no more than 120 square yards.

Dalda gives particular consideration to girls. Students already at university cannot enter the scheme directly; it selects students after matric.

Vocational scheme: at least 50% in matric, admission to a government or government-approved training course, and the same income and home limits.

How to apply for the Dalda Foundation scholarship

Applications are online only; manual forms are not accepted for 2026-27.

1. Go to daldafoundation.pk, click Sign up now and choose the student option.
2. Register with your name, father's name, email, password, date of birth and postal address.
3. Fill in your education and family income details.
4. Upload your documents, approved by your college principal.
5. Submit before 13 November 2026 and watch for your admit card for the written test.

Selection

Shortlisted students take a written test at centres across Pakistan, then an interview and verification. In most years board marks count for 60% and the test for 40%. About 450–500 students are selected each year from more than 50,000 applications.

Tips and common mistakes

• Apply this week, not on 13 November. The site is busiest in the last days.
• Prepare for the written test. It counts for about 40% of your merit.
• Get the principal's approval early. Documents without it are not accepted.
• Answer income questions accurately. Every selected family is verified.

Common reasons for rejection: matric marks below the limit for your group, admission at a private college, a family income above Rs 70,000, or missing principal approval.
